Hi! A bit about me...
My name is Abby, and I am a massage therapist based in Shellharbour Village.
Welcome to coastal village massage therapy - a space to switch off, a space to recharge and a space to prioritise self-care.
I opened up my first massage clinic here in my home in Shellharbour Village in September 2023. My main drivers behind this were my passion for helping people, my strong belief in promoting women's health - especially during the early years of motherhood & parenting, and my need for a flexible, yet fulfilling career. These first few months have been amazing - meeting so many beautiful clients and helping you feel strong in your bodies and achieve a slice of peace & wellness in your life.
Apart from being a massage therapist, I am also a mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend, coach and teammate, among other things. Family, friends and sport make up a big part of my life, and it is from these loves that I have built a strong knowledge and understanding of what we need as busy parents trying to juggle it all... And why I have created this safe, calm space for you to really switch off and let go of the tension and the stress that inevitably comes with #mumlife.

2024-2025
Diploma of Remedial Massage
TAFE NSW
I will complete my Remedial Massage training in the first half of 2025. This level of training will allow me to treat a wider range of conditions, offer deep tissue & trigger point therapy, and most importantly, health fund rebates will be available for these treatments. I am very excited to continue my studies & extend my skills and knowledge base so Ican offer more effective & beneficial treatments to my clients.
2024
Certificate in Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy Massage Australia
This course involved multiple theory components and practical assessments, examining our ability to safely treat pregnant clients. This training has given me extra knowledge and skills in the techniques, benefits & contraindications of massage during all stages of pregnancy. I am proud to offer safe, knowledgeable treatments to my clients - from their 1st trimester through to their postnatal months.

Highlights of this course were definitely the anatomy & physiology lessons.
I loved learning about our amazing bodies and how everything is so interconnected. It gave me such a better base from which to build my massage skills. The practical clinic component of the course allowed me to gain invaluable experience & hone my techniques so as to provide professional and effective treatments in my own clinic.

First Aid Certification
TAFE NSW
A requirement of the Cert IV in Massage Therapy is to complete your First Aid qualification. I have successfully completed both First Aid & CPR training, so clients can feel safe while in my clinic.
